SSH Telnet
Discover more about SSH and how this easy protocol will provide you with the ability to rapidly manage whole web servers.
Secure Shell, commonly known as SSH, is a cryptographic network protocol used to execute commands on a remote web server or to exchange data between a web server and a client. Since the data exchanged by the two sides is protected, a third party won't be able to intercept it, which makes SSH an ideal means of managing an Internet hosting account. The commands which can be executed are determined by the type of hosting service. On a shared web server, for example, the alternatives are limited as you will not have root access to the machine, so you could simply create/move/delete files, set up and unpack archives, export and import databases, and so on. They're all actions which are performed within the shared hosting account and do not need a higher level of access. Using a virtual or a dedicated server, you will be able to install server-side software or to restart the hosting server or just a specific service (web server, database server, etc.). SSH commands are submitted with a command line, but if you don't use a UNIX-like OS, there are tons of apps for other OSs, which you can use to connect to the remote server as well.

SSH Telnet in VPS Servers
You shall be able to use SSH to handle your content irrespective of which
VPS servers you select when you sign up, since all of our plans include this feature as standard. You won't need to add or activate anything manually - immediately after your server is ready and you receive the Welcome e-mail with the login information, you could connect and begin working on your sites or any software that you would like to set up and run on the hosting server. You will have root-level access to the VPS and since the account will be separated from all of the other accounts on the physical web server, you will be able to do anything you would like without any restrictions. You could install any application that you need and that will work on a Linux-based server, restart any software server (web, database, game, media, etc.) and work with your files and databases quickly and easily.
